Welcome to the Bedale Community Library website. The charity took over the running of the library on 1 April 2017. A team of over 40 volunteers are keeping the doors open for 24 hours a week.  Opening times from April 1 2018:

Monday        2 pm — 5 pm

Tuesday       10 am — 4 pm

Wednesday  2 pm — 5 pm

Thursday      3 pm — 6 pm

Friday           10 am — 4 pm

Saturday       9.30 am — 12.30 pm

Please note: the Library will be closed on Bank Holidays, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. In addition, the Library will be closed in the week between Christmas and New Year.
